08-23-2006: Jakob Dohrmann, a diplom student at the University of Applied Sciences in Muenster, Germany, completed his diplom thesis on datamining in complex networks. Jakob accomplished most of his work while working at DataInsight under the supervision of Dr. Markus Loecher in Princeton working closely with Prof. Dr. Gernot Bauer (http://www.et.fh-muenster.de/persons/bauer/index.htm) in Muenster. |
8-15-2006: DataInsight ranked in the top ten performers in the 2006 UCSD Data Mining Contest 2006 UCSD Data Mining Contest. The main text classification task was to assign 10,000 unseen documents to one of 28 categories. |
03-20-2006: Christian Dankbar, a masters student at the University of Applied Sciences (http://www.fh-muenster.de/) in Muenster, Germany, completed his masters thesis on sampling of complex networks.
